Broadband Comparison

With a wealth of packages to choose from, comparing broadband deals online is a great way to save time and money.

Not all broadband services are available nationwide, so ensuring you only look at packages that are available in your area will make your search quicker and easier. To start looking for broadband deals, simply enter your postcode and home phone number into the broadband checker box and hit `check´.

Entering your phone number is optional, but doing this will make the results more accurate and also give you an idea of the line speed that could be achieved with your connection.

Once your details have been checked against the broadband bundle database, results will show up in just a few seconds. A green bar will tell you how many deals are available in your area and list the results ranked in order of popularity with the top selling packages appearing first.

Using the `Sort By´ menu enables you to rank the results by different criteria including monthly price, contract length, provider or download speed. If price is the most important factor for you when choosing a broadband package, you should choose to view the results in order of ascending price. If a lightning fast connection is more of a priority for you, it is possible to order the results by download speed.

Results can be filtered further by using any of the tick boxes above the list of packages. Bundling a broadband connection with other services such as home phone and digital TV can be a good way to save money, so if you would like to see packages which also include these services select the tick box marked `Bundles Only´.

You can also choose to only display packages which include a wireless router, those with a specified download speed, or unlimited usage packages which have no download limits.

Another way to get an overview of specific broadband packages is by using the tabs at the top of the page. As well as the general 'Compare Broadband' page which gives an overview of all packages available, you will find four additional tabs for standalone broadband, unlimited broadband, cheap broadband and wireless broadband.

Choose standalone broadband if you are only looking for broadband and do not want to see any packages that include additional services such as home phone or digital television. The Unlimited broadband tab is the place to look if you anticipate being a heavy user and want to see broadband packages that do not have any download limits.

Anyone on a strict budget should head straight for the Cheap broadband tab to find all the best value deals available from different providers. If a cable-free connection is more important to you, click on the Wireless broadband tab to find all packages that include a wireless router as standard.

Once you have found a broadband package that you are interested in, clicking on the 'See Deal' button will transfer you to the relevant page on the provider's official website. From here you will be able to read more information and buy your new broadband package.
