Broadband providers to attend UK Internet Industry Awards
Broadband companies can now register for the UK Internet Industry Awards 2011.

The ceremony, organised by the Internet Service Providers' Association (ISPA), seeks to honour companies across a range of categories, including best consumer fixed broadband, internet telephony and mobile broadband.

Of these, the latter will be judged on an array of factors, including price and value for money, speeds, value-added services and network coverage.

The internet hero and villain of the year will also be named at the occasion.

While the majority of these awards do not yet have sponsorship, Plusnet has stepped up to put its name to the digital inclusion prize, which will be given out by the ISPA in partnership with Race Online 2012.

Firms that wish to enter must register via the event's official website before February 4th.

The awards, which will celebrate their 13th anniversary next year, will be held at London's Lancaster Hotel on July 7th, with the ISPA set to make an announcement about ticket sales shortly.
