Network provider BT is set to bring superfast broadband to homes and businesses based in Wisborough Green as part of the West Sussex Better Connected rollout project.

The connectivity programme aims to deliver the high-speed technology to the whole of the region by 2016, meaning local residents will be able to access faster internet loading speeds, as well as the ability to log on to the web on several devices in one household at a time.

To mark the upcoming arrival of fibre optic broadband to Wisborough Green, representatives from BT will attend the village's farmers' market tomorrow (14 August 2014), the Midhurst and Petworth Observer reports.

BT will be showcasing the many benefits of the superfast service on the day, while representatives from the telecoms company and West Sussex County Council will be on hand to answer any queries local people may have about gaining a connection to the fibre network.

Wisborough Green residents wishing to attend BT's demonstration will be able to catch the team at the farmers' market near the village hall and pond in the morning, before they move on to the village stores in the afternoon.
