BT free broadband deal runs until October 1st
Consumers have until the start of next month to sign up for a promotional offer on one of BT's broadband and home phone packages.

The BT Broadband and Anytime Calls bundle offer, which ends on October 1st 2010, gives those who take it out three months of free broadband, with speeds of up to 20Mb/s available.

It also includes unlimited calls to UK landlines, a wireless BT Home Hub worth £89.99 and a monthly broadband usage allowance of 10GB.

During this promotional period, subscribers only need to pay their standard monthly line rental, which starts at £9.49.

After the initial three months of the 18-month contract, the broadband price reverts to £15.99 - which in itself represents a £4 per month saving on the normal cost of this package.

BT is just one of the providers currently offering discounted broadband, with TalkTalk's six months free promotion on its Essentials package also available until the end of September.
