EE hails arrival of superfast mobile broadband in Cambridge
Representatives from the internet service provider EE have praised the launch of superfast 4G mobile broadband in Cambridge.

EE Regional Manager for East Anglia Michelle Hardcastle was keen to highlight the benefits that the service would bring to mobile broadband customers in the area.

She said the network "allows customers to access the content they care about without the frustration of pages being slow to load or apps not connecting".

Ms Hardcastle went on to liken the speed of the service to having a fibre optic broadband connection on a mobile phone. She claimed Cambridge residents would now be able download large files, stream live video and browse social media on the go thanks to the new network.

It is the first 4G connection that has been launched in the region and users will have to pay £45 a month to gain access to it.

But EE has promised it will decrease the cheapest subscription fees to £18.99 a month when access is more widely available.
