High-speed broadband on the way to West Lindsey
Homes and businesses in the West Lindsey area of Lincolnshire will be able to access superfast broadband in the near future, thanks to a partnership between the local district council and Quickline Communications.

Together, the authority and the network provider aim to bring better internet to the whole of West Lindsey in a bid to improve communications, even in the more rural parts of the region, the Gainsborough Standard reports.

The broadband rollout will comprise of three phases, with the first centred around delivering the high-speed technology to residential and commercial properties throughout the district, while the second will involve a marketing and business communications project to help local people to engage with the idea of signing up for the superfast service.

Finally, the initiative will look to expand its customer base even further to enable a greater number of premises to be connected to fibre optic broadband.

Speaking to the newspaper, Council Leader Jeff Summers explained: "Our communities, residents and diverse businesses will now have access to high-speed broadband that will assist further growth in West Lindsey."
