Mobile broadband survey ranks 3 as number one
A new YouGov survey of mobile broadband users has named 3 Mobile as the best network provider in the UK.

The company's service was ranked at number one in eight of the 15 categories examined by the poll, which asked customers to assess their network on key points such as connection speed, ease of use and reliability.

It is the second successive year that 3 has topped the YouGov DongleTracker survey, beating off competition from the likes of Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone.

"We're thrilled that our customers have rated us the number one mobile broadband provider in the UK for the second time running," commented Joe Parker, 3's director of mobile broadband.

In a separate survey carried out by YouGov, the company was also named the best network provider for iPhone and smartphone owners who use mobile internet services.

According to figures reported by the Guardian this week, Facebook was the most visited website by users of 3's mobile dongles and 3G network in July 2010.
