O2 announces three new broadband dealsHome broadband provider O2 has launched three new broadband offers - The Basics, The All Rounder and The Works. ![]() The broadband provider's The Basics deal is described as being "perfect" for surfing the web and sending emails on a daily basis, thanks to its 20GB usage allowance. It is available for £13 per month on a one-year or 30-day rolling contract. Meanwhile, The All Rounder includes an unlimited download allocation - subject to O2's fair usage policy - for £17 per month and The Works also gives subscribers a static IP address, plus faster upload speeds, for £20 per month. Existing O2 mobile phone customers can enjoy a discount of £5 per month on any of these packages, all of which offer download speeds of up to 20Mb/s. Research published by telecoms industry regulator Ofcom in August 2010 revealed that 71 per cent of households in the UK now have access to broadband. Related Stories
