Superfast broadband training for Lynn businesswomen
Businesswomen based in the Norfolk community of Lynn are being given the opportunity to learn how to use a superfast broadband connection to their best advantage, following the recent arrival of the high-speed technology in the area.

Lynn News reports that entrepreneurial females in the town can attend workshops as part of the Faster Women programme, which aims to improve infrastructure for this demographic, therefore helping them to increase their contribution to the country's economy.

The scheme is being supported financially by the government's £1 million Challenge Fund, which was launched in May this year to help businesswomen to work more effectively.

Two workshops will be held in the Lynn area, with the first taking place on Wednesday 3 December 2014 at Yours Business Network in King's Lynn and the second on Tuesday 9 December 2014 at The Open, in Bank Plain, Norwich.

Chief Executive of the Norfolk Chamber of Commerce Caroline Williams explained: "Delegates will explore which platforms are best for their business, analyse their current activity and put together an action plan to maximise their digital impact."
