T-Mobile 'launches Broadband Boosters scheme'T-Mobile is launching a service designed to make it easier to access mobile broadband while on holiday in the EU. ![]() The company announced that this will allow users to continue to access their mobile broadband package throughout the European Union. Research has shown that 40 per cent of the firm's customers would take their laptops on holiday with them if they were able to access the internet easily, which could be behind the decision. Ralf Pearson, senior propositions manager for mobile broadband at the company, claimed that this would enable customers to get the most from their package. He said: "We're offering these customers a range of better value, worry-free options built to suit their different online needs while they're in the most popular travel destinations." Earlier this month, leading broadband provider Virgin Media announced the launch of a Travel Passes package that was also designed to make accessing the internet while on the move in Europe easier.
