Vodafone is offering mobile broadband customers the opportunity to push their driving skills to the limit in a showdown with Lewis Hamilton.

The 2008 Formula One world champion will set a qualifying lap in a go-kart at the Daytona track in Milton Keynes, after which lucky Vodafone subscribers will attempt to beat him at his own game.

Mobile broadband customers and any other consumers with Vodafone pay monthly, pay as you go or home broadband contracts can enter for an opportunity to win the money-can't-buy prize.

Eager participants must visit the Vodafone VIP website and register their details before October 20th 2010 to be in with a chance.

"You may even get tips from Lewis himself. It's the event no racing fan will want to miss," the network operator commented.

In order to register, Vodafone's mobile broadband subscribers must enter their modem numbers on the special website, after which a security code will be sent to their inbox.

Once this code is entered and a few security details are taken, the process is complete.
