3 Mobile appoints W+K as new creative agency
Network operator 3 Mobile has announced the appointment of Wieden + Kennedy (W+K) as its new creative agency.

The marketing firm will think up and implement campaigns in the digital, press, TV, radio and outdoor sectors as part of the mobile broadband provider's push for UK growth.

Margaret Burke, director of brand and integrated communications at 3 Mobile, said W+K's "creative thinking" will ensure the agency is a great match for the carrier.

She claimed an increasing number of consumers are waking up to the possibilities offered by their smartphones, tablets and laptops when they are out and about.

"With W+K we will create compelling campaigns that tell this story and show just why Three is the network of choice for anyone who needs speed and reliability alongside competitive pricing," Ms Burke added.

In October 2010, the service provider was rated as offering the UK's best mobile broadband for the second time in a row in the YouGov DongleTrack survey.
