Broadband frustrations for Burton businessman
Burton-based businessman Dominik Paczko is frustrated with the broadband he is currently receiving and has blamed service provider BT for making 'false promises'.

Speaking to the Burton Mail, Mr Paczko explained he and his business neighbours were originally told it would not be financially viable for BT to connect them to superfast fibre broadband, but were later informed they would gain access to the high-speed technology under the Superfast Staffordshire rollout programme.

However, this has not yet transpired due to delays, leaving the businessman feeling frustrated.

He said: "We were very excited when we were told by BT three months ago that we would finally be upgraded by the end of September, so it is disappointing that it now looks like we are having to wait until December."

In response, a BT spokesman explained upgrading equipment had been installed at the local green roadside cabinet, but confirmed that it may not be put to use until the end of the year.
