BT Local Business aims to boost Cheshire broadband uptake
BT has announced the launch of a new small business designed to help firms across Cheshire take full advantage of high-speed broadband and associated technologies.

Known as BT Local Business for Cheshire and Warrington but trading as 21st Telecom, the firm is officially licensed to sell the telecoms giant's products and services.

It is being run by Kevin Cheston and Dave Everest - two men with more than 42 years of experience in the communications industry between them - and will employ a team of 17 advisers, who will be based at an office in Winwick Quay, Warrington.

Mr Cheston, who has been appointed as Managing Director of the operation, explained that the concept is strong because small businesses are often keen to work with like-minded firms.

"In our case they have the added benefit of knowing we're supported by the BT brand," he noted.

BT now has a network of 41 local businesses across the UK, with Mr Cheston revealing he is eager to expand his team if it enjoys success.
