Construction firm first customer for Better Broadband for Nottinghamshire
Gusto Construction has become the first customer to sign up for an improved internet connection under the Better Broadband for Nottinghamshire rollout project.

The company is based in the village of Collingham, where a green roadside cabinet has recently been upgraded to the fibre network as part of the first phase of the high-speed connectivity initiative.

Chief Executive of the business Steve Wright explained: "We placed our order as soon as the cabinet was installed in the village - within a matter of days our internet connection was boosted to a superfast 60Mbps."

Gusto Construction received access to fibre optic broadband thanks to Newark-based internet service provider Timico, but local residents can contact their own network providers to find out about an upgrade.

Mr Wright added that having a connection to the high-speed technology has brought many benefits to the business, improving the speed that tasks can be completed in and enabling the firm to upgrade the everyday software it uses to a better alternative.
