EuropaSat has agreed a deal with SES Broadband Services to offer the satellite operator's Ka-band internet proposition across Europe and the UK.

The company has already begun marketing the new packages and will offer an extensive range of fast broadband services in areas covered by the SES footprint. It will provide support before and after the completion of the sales process, as well as online ordering, maintenance and logistics.

In turn, SES has been tasked with supplying the necessary capacity, network and hub operations to support the broadband service, which will offer speeds of up to 20Mbps.

EuropaSat is based in Bicester, Oxfordshire and is planning to use its base to demonstrate the capabilities of satellite broadband to potential customers before they sign up.
