Attendees of the Suffolk Show will today (May 29th 2013) be given the opportunity to find out about the county's planned super-fast broadband rollout.

A new website illustrating when local communities can expect to benefit from the county's broadband partnership with BT will be launched at the event.

Jointly created by BT and the local authority, the site features an interactive map of the area offering the latest information on the Better Broadband for Suffolk programme, with the chart set to be updated as the rollout progresses.

In addition, it boasts a line checker that allows people to verify the status of their local exchange and find out when it is due to be upgraded, as well as an information hub complete with case studies, news and answers to frequently asked questions.

Mark Bee, Suffolk County Council Leader and Chair of the Better Broadband for Suffolk programme, said: "I'm delighted to be able to share with people more details about when and where faster broadband will be rolled out."
