TalkTalk has opened a new outlet in London where people can go to obtain specialist broadband advice.

The company's first Customer Experience Centre is situated in Broadwick Street and it has been described by Charles Dunstone on the TalkTalk blog as "the brighter place to try new online products".

As well as testing out the latest technologies or receiving broadband advice, visitors can also simply sit down and surf the net, while those who are not yet TalkTalk customers are able to sign up for one of the company's broadband packages.

The exclusive customer lounge on the first floor is the really special part, according to Mr Dunstone, as that's where customers can enjoy hot and cold drinks while making use of the mobile broadband facilities.

"We're really excited about our Customer Experience Centre - it's the first time we've had a physical presence," he added.

TalkTalk last month started life as an independent firm in its own right, after it split from its parent company the Carphone Warehouse Group.
