Tallington to bid for super-fast broadband funds
Tallington in Lincolnshire is set to bid for the government's Rural Community Broadband Fund.

Residents and businesses in Tallington looked like missing out on the full benefits of the government's Broadband Delivery UK scheme, as the village does not have its own exchange cabinet.
An upgrade to the nearest cabinet, at Barnack, would not result in a significant increase in speeds.
Not wanting to be left behind, the parish council bid for a chunk of the government's Rural Community Broadband Fund (RCBF) and has now been invited to submit a full application and business plan, reports the Stamford Mercury.
The RCBF is open to any community identified by the local authority's broadband plan as being in the ten per cent of hardest to reach areas.
Councillor Tom Klimes said: "The next stage is to look for someone to take the bid on. It has to be done with a company and has to be in line with government tender rules."
