3 Mobile Broadband Bus arrives at Bestival
Network operator 3 Mobile has driven its Mobile Broadband Bus to Bestival on the Isle of Wight.

The music festival opened to the public yesterday (September 9th 2010) and runs throughout the weekend, with fans able to keep up to date with their social networking thanks to the latest phones and mobile broadband products from the service provider.

As well as making sure that attendees do not miss out on the chance to access the web, 3 Mobile will put on performances from Ellie Goulding on Saturday and Kassidy the following day.

I Blame Coco will also be appearing at the Mobile Broadband Bus at 17:00 BST today for a signing.

Following Bestival, 3 Mobile will take its tour of the UK - which has previously stopped at Glasgow, Leeds and Manchester - to London's Leicester Square and the Bullring in Birmingham.

The initiative is part of 3 Mobile's pledge to help 100,000 people get connected to the internet for the first time by 2012.
