Broadband Only

While broadband internet access can be enjoyed as part of a vast array of bundles with TV and phone services, many people literally just want a reliable standalone broadband service without any added frills or services that they just don’t need.

Standalone broadband is the cheapest way to get your broadband service as you’ll never have to pay for anything that you don’t want or need. Simply choose the level of broadband access you want, compare the latest and best packages and deals from our provider listings and then you can sign up for your chosen standalone package in a matter of minutes – and all right here on Broadband Choice.

Be Broadband Only

Be offers three broadband no phone packages. Be Value has a download speed of up to 12Mbps, an upload speed up to 1.3Mbps and comes on a 12 month contract with a free wireless modem. Be Unlimited has a download speed of up to 24Mbps, upload speed of up to 1.3Mbps, a free wireless router and a choice of either 3 or 12 month contracts. Be Pro also has downloads up to 24Mbps, uploads at a blistering 2.5Mbps, a free wireless router and, for added peace-of-mind, a static IP address. Be Pro too is offered with a choice of 3 or 12 month contracts.

O2 Broadband Only

O2 offers three different standalone broadband no phone choices. They all have download speeds of up to 20Mbps, an inclusive router and are sold on 12 month contracts. The entry-level package is O2 the Basics, which has a monthly download allowance of 20GB, O2 The All Rounder which allows 100GB of monthly usage and O2 The Works that allows a massive 250GB to be downloaded each and every month.

Plusnet Broadband Only

Yorkshire based Plusnet offers a handful of broadband no phone line packages, which have a lot to offer, not least a free wireless router. The cheapest Plusnet broadband package, Plusnet Value, is a fantastic entry-level package that advertises downloads at up to 20Mbps with a 10GB monthly download allowance. This package is even available in a choice of either 12 month contract or, for the greatest possible flexibility, no contract at all.

Plusnet Extra offers the same great value in terms of an inclusive router and up to 20Mbps downloads, a no contract option and a monthly download allowance of 60GB while Plusnet Pro offers low latency, static IP address options, 20GB monthly download allowance and free usage between midnight and 8am so you can download as much data as you need to without eating into your download allowance. You even get 240 minutes of VoIP calls to save you money on your phone bill.

Virgin Media Broadband Only

While most Virgin Media customers opt for one of the great broadband, TV and phone bundles there is still a lot to be said for Virgin broadband no phone packages. All Virgin Media standalone broadband packages have an unlimited monthly download allowance, subject to the terms of the Virgin Media fair usage policy that will allow you to use the web as much as you like each month without having to worry about any surcharges.

All three Virgin Media broadband no phone line packages are offered on 12 month contracts and include a free wireless router. Broadband L has an advertised download speed of up to 10Mbps, Virgin Broadband XL up to 30Mbps and Virgin Broadband XXL boasts an incredible up to 50Mbps connection.
