Virgin Media Business appointments hampered by snow
Virgin Media Business has warned it is struggling to meet appointments in areas across the UK as a result of severe weather conditions.

The business broadband provider warned deliveries and installations had been affected in numerous regions, including the Highlands, north-east and west Scotland and the north-east and south-east coast of England.

Director of business provisioning and access planning at the Virgin Media subsidiary Julie Agnew said all activities in these areas could be hampered by delays and cancellations for as long as the current cold snap continues.

This may be for some time, as the Met Office warned yesterday (December 2nd 2010) the "very low temperatures" are likely to last throughout the weekend and into next week.

Ms Agnew revealed the broadband company will give regular updates on the areas currently hit by these delays, as well as any other parts of the country that become affected.

"We are doing our best to maintain our provisioning services during this adverse weather," she added.
