3 Mobile has slashed the upfront cost attached to two of its pay as you go mobile broadband deals.

The network operator is now offering a dongle bundled with 1GB of internet usage for £19.99, a £10 reduction on the previous price.

Meanwhile, its 3GB mobile broadband package has been reduced by the same amount and is available for £29.99.

Consumers who purchase one of 3 Mobile's dongles have 30 days to use the inclusive internet allowance, after which time they can top it up by £10, £15 or £25.

These sums come with 1GB, 3GB and 7GB of usage respectively.

In July 2010, a survey carried out by YouGov rated 3 Mobile as the UK's best mobile broadband provider over a number of categories, including billing, quality of service and reliability.

"It is a customer endorsement of the massive investment we have been put into our network over the past two years," the company's director of mobile broadband Joe Parker said at the time.
