Be boosts download speeds on Value package
Be Broadband is to increase the download speeds on its entry-level Value package.

From now on, customers who sign up to this deal will be able to benefit from download speeds of up to 12Mb/s - a rise from the previous level of 8Mb/s - without seeing any increase in the £13.79 per month pricetag.

As well as improved download speeds, Be Value offers unlimited usage and uploads at up to 1.3Mb/s on a 12-month contract, with no connection fee required.

Product manager at Be Alinna Chung said the new broadband product bundled with Be's recently-launched home phone service makes for "a unique offer for those looking for high speeds at a low price".

Ms Chung added: "At Be, we know that faster is better and better speeds translate to better value."

The internet service provider also offers up to 24Mb/s broadband with uncapped usage for £17.88 per month with Be Unlimited and Be Pro, which has the same headline speed but faster uploads, for £21.97 per month.
