Broadband speeds concern public
Broadband speed in the UK is a bigger worry than hospital waiting times and crime, according to a new survey.

A slow internet connection was cited by 41 per cent of people to be their main daily concern while the figure for hospital waiting times was just 14 per cent.

The survey by broadband bundle provider O2 found that faster broadband was a bigger worry than crime (26 per cent) and the job market (18 per cent).

Felix Geyr, head of O2 home broadband, said: "It's clear from this poll that the British public is getting increasingly frustrated with the UK’s broadband services."

He added that as the new government aims to get everyone connected by 2020, it is time for service providers to put an end to the problems that customers encounter every day.

O2 has just launched a new campaign aimed at highlighting the sort of daily 'niggles and narks' that users face.
