BT has launched a new broadband bundle giving consumers fast download speeds and inclusive landline calls.

The promotion, which is exclusively available to customers signing up online, includes download speeds of up to 20Mb/s and a monthly usage allowance of 10GB.

It also comes with free evening and weekend calls to other UK landlines, including 0845 and 0870 numbers.

This bundle is currently available for £6.99 per month for the first three months, after which time it reverts to its regular price of £13.99.

Customers keen to take advantage of this discounted offer will need to sign up for an 18-month contract, while BT line rental starting at £9.49 per month is also payable.

At the end of July 2010, BT revealed that it attracted a net total of 96,000 new customers to its broadband services in the first quarter of its 2010-11 financial year.

Over the same period, its share of the broadband retail market stood at 40 per cent.
