BT to give business efficiency advice in Salford
BT is set to visit Greater Manchester this week and give local employers advice on how to cut costs.

The broadband bundle provider's "vehicle for change" - a 14-metre long lorry packed with technology designed to save money and improve efficiency - will be parking up at the Worsley Park Marriot Hotel and Country Club in Salford.

Experts from the telecoms giant will be on hand to give advice between November 10th and 12th 2010.

Visitors who head to the site will be able to draw on BT's experience of trimming £1.8 billion from its underlying costs in 2009-10.

President of government and health at BT Global Services Neil Rogers admitted local businesses may not have the time to visit the organisation's London showcase.

"This is a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate our capabilities at locations convenient to them," he added.

Before it heads to Salford, the vehicle will spend today (November 8th) at Aintree Racecourse in Merseyside.
