Ludlow MP welcomes broadband rollout
Philip Dunne, the MP for Ludlow, has welcomed the expansion of high-speed broadband into new areas of his constituency.

The small towns of Cleobury Mortimer and Clee Hill previously suffered from slow internet speeds that left many local enterprises struggling to access the online economy.

But this will change in the coming days as Connecting Shropshire has announced that people in these areas will see their download speeds improve within the next 14 months.

Work has already begun on 25 exchange areas to update connections to more modern alternatives.

Philip Dunne told the local Kidderminster Shuttle newspaper: "I am pleased that the next stage of this programme has been announced so that more households and businesses will have access over coming months to fast, reliable broadband."

Other areas in the county set to see their download speeds improve in the coming months include Cross Houses, Dorrington, Hadnall, Hanwood and Broseley.
