Broadband East Riding announces next phase of superfast rollout
The next stage of the Broadband East Riding superfast internet rollout programme has been announced, with an additional 20,000 homes and businesses in the area set to gain access to the high-speed technology during phases two and three of the project.

These include premises in Middleton on the Wolds, Burton Agnes, Holme-on-Spalding-Moor, Bridlington, Flamborough, North Cave, Stamford Bridge, Wilberfoss and Market Weighton.

Broadband East Riding is bringing faster internet to these communities thanks to millions of pounds worth of investment in the cause, with 42,000 properties in line to benefit from speeds of 24Mbps or above.

Network provider BT is helping with the local rollout, working in partnership with Broadband East Riding to make sure as many people as possible are given access to the superfast service.

Deputy Leader of the East Riding of Yorkshire Council Jonathan Owen commented: "Delivering a project as far-reaching as Broadband East Riding is an excellent example of the public and private sector working together for the benefit of residents and customers."
