The Superfast Lancashire rollout programme will be hosting a free event next week (23 October 2014), designed to highlight how businesses in the county could potentially improve their success through better broadband.

Get Your Business Superfast will feature several experts on the subject, explaining how firms in Blackburn, Burnley, Accrington and Preston should be using superfast fibre optic broadband to their best advantage.

The event's headline speaker, Business Innovator Neil Simpson from Preston, commented: "The future is digital. The internet is fundamentally changing the way we do business forever.

"Businesses that can harness the opportunities presented by a new high-speed fibre connection will be able to grow and thrive like never before."

Also speaking at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel in Accrington will be Dragons' Den winner Kirsty Henshaw, while Regional Chairman of the Federation of Small Businesses Gary Lovatt has pledged his support to the event.

Firms can still book a place via the Superfast Lancashire website, with around 85 businesses already signed up to attend.
